I part exchanged my previous Boxster 987 2.7 at the time (£9750 p/x value), driving in the 987 and driving out the 981s.
The oddity was re-arranging the insurance for the switchover, my insurer (Aviva via Marsh branded originally as Porsche Insurance) told me that despite an increase in value of 6 times, the car being faster to 60, having a higher top speed and of course being newer…the switchover resulted in a part refund of £105.79 to my annual premium!
